Lange habe ich darauf gewartet endlich eine Hochzeit in Leer zu fotografieren. Zu Leer habe ich eine ganz besondere Beziehung, denn mein Trauzeuge André und seine Frau wohnen dort. Oft schon sind wir durch die schöne Stadt in Ostfriesland gegangen uns immer wieder sagte ich, wie schön es wäre, hier einmal als Hochzeitsfotograf tätig zu sein. Am letzten Wochenende war es dann soweit. Es war auch deshalb besonders, weil ich bereits die Hochzeit von Andrea´s Cousine Zwaantje fotografiert habe. Nach einer Woche voller Regen schien am Samstag die Sonne und im Standesamt im Rathaus von Leer fand die Trauung statt. Besonders erwähnen muss ich einfach den Standesbeamten, der die Trauung mit ostfriesischem Witz hielt. Herrlich! Nachdem die kleine Familie just aus Zypern nach Rostock gezogen ist, findet im nächsten Jahr die große Feier statt.
I had to wait too long to finally shoot a wedding in Leer. My relationship to Leer ist very special because my own best man André and his wife are living there. We walked quite often through this lovely city in East Frisia and everytime I was thinking how beautiful it must be to do a wedding shoot here and now it was the time to get creative. It was also a special day because I was the wedding photographer of Andrea´s cousin Zwaantje. After one week of rain it was a sunny day and the civil ceremony was held at the city hall in Leer. I also have to mention the great registrar who was an absolute original East Frisian guy. After the small family moved from Cyprus to Rostock a few weeks ago the big party will be next year.
Bei dieser Kälte möchte ich heute ein paar sommerliche Protraitfotos zeigen. Als Fotograf in Hannover war es für mich eine besondere Ehre meine besten Freunde Andrea & André aus Leer in Ostfriesland zu fotografieren. Wir kennen uns seit über 15 Jahren, aber wir hatten nie die Gelegenheit, einmal schöne Fotos zu machen. Ich hoffe, dass sie die Kälte ein wenig vertreiben. Vielleicht schaffe ich es in diesem Jahr auch mal als Hochzeitsfotograf nach Leer?
On this really cold days I would like to show you some sunny portraits. As a photographer in Hanover it was a great honor for me to take some pictures of my best friends Andrea & André from Leer near the Dutch border. We know each other for more than 15 years now but we never get the opportunity to take awesome pictures. Hopefully they will drive the coldness away. Maybe I´ll be driving to Leer as a Wedding Photographer this year?
